ICE North East’s Regional Briefing Sheet on Flooding
The document published Thursday 30 April was officially launched by President Jean Venables OBE during her visit to the Region. The report has been compiled by a group comprising experts and practitioners in the field, following the flooding that occurred in the autumn of last year. It is intended to raise awareness of the Region’s flooding problems, their causes and the approach need to tackle them.

2009 marks 150 years since the death of one of the greatest civil engineers, Robert Stephenson.
